Legal advice

A home is one of the most important and expensive things people will buy in their lives, so it's vital that you get the best advice possible. It can also seem quite daunting!

You can choose your own solicitor, but we recommend you find one who has experience in leasehold properties. If you're not sure where to start, we may be able to suggest some firms that other customer of ours have used in the past.

Remember you are paying your solicitor for their services, so make sure you ask them to explain anything you don't understand and that you are completely happy with the legal arrangements you are entering into by buying one of our homes.

You can find details of solicitors in your area from The Law Society.

Make sure your legal and financial advisors are qualified to give you the information you need, and try to get more advice from another independent source if you can. If you're not sure where to start, we can point you in the right direction.
