Legal advice

A home is one of the most important and expensive things people will buy in their lives, so it's vital that you get the best advice possible. We know it can also seem quite daunting.

You can choose your own solicitor, but we recommend you find one who has experience in leasehold properties.

We have put together a list of solicitors who we know are familiar with shared ownership and leasehold conveyancing, for guidance:

Remember you are paying your solicitor for their services, so make sure you ask them to explain anything you don't understand and that you are completely happy with the legal arrangements you are entering into by buying one of our homes.

You can also find details of solicitors in your area from The Law Society.
