Residents & RHO learning together

Tuesday 30 June 2015

Riverside Home Ownership held an Induction Day for new involved residents on 30th June 2015, with training delivered by Tenant Training Officer Nancy Brown at the Home Ownership office in Hunts Cross, Liverpool.

Fourteen residents took part in an interactive day, increasing their knowledge of the history of Riverside and social housing. They also learnt how they could make a difference in their own communities through independent projects, residents associations and Riverside's Resident Involvement structure.

The Federation's Chin Wag bus paid a visit, and residents got to chat to members of Riverside's Home Ownership and Resident Involvement teams.

The day was an insightful and empowering introduction to Resident Involvement within Riverside, with involved residents going on to take part in further activities such as Home Ownership feedback sessions and attending the Federation's National Tenants' and Residents' Conference. One attendee also recently joined the Customer Service Centre's tenants' and residents' focus group.
