Getting Involved

At Riverside Home Ownership we welcome and encourage the involvement of our residents in the management of their homes. We have developed many of our procedures and practices by consulting directly with our residents, for example through our Customer Satisfaction Survey.

We communicate directly with our residents by letters and phone calls, regular visits by our Home Ownership Officers to properties, annual scheme reports, statements of account and any other appropriate methods.

However, you don’t need to wait until we approach you. Please talk to us individually or as a group about any of our activities which affect you, or which you would like to change or influence in some way.

One way of doing this is through setting up residents' associations. On many of our properties such associations have been formed by residents to discuss matters of common interest and to liaise with us.

You have the right to form a residents' association along with others living at the same property. On certain issues the law gives greater consultation rights to recognised residents' associations than to individual residents.
