How to Apply

To make sure your application goes as easily as possible, please take a moment to make sure you're applying to the right place for the home you are interested in. How to apply depends on the location and type of home you are interested in.

  • New Shared Ownership Homes

    For brand new Shared Ownership homes, you must first apply through the local 'Help to Buy Agent' for the area the property is located in. The easiest way is to click the 'Apply' button on the page of the development you want to apply for.

     

    You must complete your application with them first so they can check you meet the main eligibility criteria. They will then pass your details to us here at Riverside Home Ownership. From that point onwards, you'll deal with us directly.

  • Resale Shared Ownership Homes

    For Shared Ownership homes with Riverside that are for sale by the existing owner, you can apply through Riverside Home Ownership directly. Just download our Resales Application Form and return it to us, or contact us for a copy by post.

  • Leasehold Scheme for the Elderly (LSE)

    For LSE homes with Riverside that are for sale by the existing owner, you can apply through Riverside Home Ownership directly.

  • Rented Homes

    To apply for one of our rented homes, please call us first on 0345 155 9029.
